About Gita Mandir in Dwarka, Gujarat :
Gita Mandir is situated towards the Western Ghats of Dwarka, close to the Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Mandir. This temple was built by the industrialist family of Birlas in 1970. The temple is constructed using marble, which adds to the beauty of the temple. This shrine was built to protect the rich scripture, teachings and values of the religious book of Hindus, the ‘Bhagavad Gita’.
Besides, the walls of the temple are carved with the hymns of Bhagavad Gita. Along with this, the temple ceiling is designed is a special way so that every voice heard in the hall is echoed. Accommodation facilities are also available within the temple for pilgrims to stay.
Gita Mandir Attractions :
The whole of Gita, the sacred book of the Hindus, is inscribed on the temple. Beautiful carvings and paintings enhance the beauty of the temple. There is a beautiful image of Lord Krishna is present in the sanctum of the Mandir. The Gita Stabmh is also present in the temple. The temple is decorated beautifully on the auspicious occasion of Janmasthami and Holi.
The temple is open throughout the week and there is no entry charge. Worshipers can visit the temple in the morning and offer their offerings. There are small shops outside the Gita Mandir which sell flowers ,sweets and other essential commodities required for the puja.

The famous mandir is easily accessible from all the major destinations by car and private taxis. Buses and private coaches also carry passengers to Gita Mandir.
